How it works

You run the conference. It runs the machinery.

Five steps from setup to follow-up. At each one, here is what you decide and what ConferenceDock handles.

  1. Step 01

    Configure the conference

    You

Set your days, time slots, rooms or tables, attendee roles, and the lock-in date. Decide who can request whom.

    ConferenceDock

Builds the slot grid the solver will fill and applies your rules to every request.

  2. Step 02

    Invite your list

    You

Approve attendees and send personal invitations. Nothing is public, and nobody joins without one.

    ConferenceDock

Walks each attendee through a profile: firm, criteria, and investment thesis. Company details fill in from their website. Capital Providers set mandate gates.

  3. Step 03

    Open matching

    You

Advance the conference to the matching phase when the room is ready.

    ConferenceDock

Ranks counterparties for every Independent Sponsor and Capital Provider on thesis, deal size, check size, EBITDA range, sector, geography, and stage, and explains each match. Requests are sent and answered as functional cards in the message thread.

  4. Step 04

    Schedule and lock

    You

Pin the meetings that must happen at a set time. Lock the schedule on your date.

    ConferenceDock

Feeds accepted meetings, attendee priorities, and blocked-out time into a constraint solver. Re-runs 30 seconds after changes settle, until lock-in.

  5. Step 05

    Meet and report

    You

Run the day from live status. Handle the few things that need a person.

    ConferenceDock

Puts each schedule on the attendee's phone, available offline, with a prep brief before every meeting. Captures ratings, notes, and next steps afterward. Exports connections and produces your post-event reports.

Phase control

Seven phases. Forward only. You decide when each one starts.

  1. 01

    Open

Invitations go out. Profiles are completed.

  2. 02

    Matching

Matches are ranked and explained. Requests flow.

  3. 03

    Scheduling

The solver assigns times and tables continuously.

  4. 04

    Locked

The schedule freezes on your lock-in date.

  5. 05

    Live

The conference days. Live status and alerts.

  6. 06

    Concluded

Capture closes out. Reports are ready.

  7. 07

    Archived

The event is read-only for the record.

Who uses it

Four roles, one conference.

Independent Sponsors

Deal professionals who source a company and need the right capital partner for that specific deal. They get ranked Capital Providers with reasons, and a schedule built around their priorities.

Capital Providers

LPs, private equity funds, family offices, and debt providers. They set mandate gates, so only requests inside their criteria reach them.

Organizers

The conference team. Setup, invitations, phase control, live status, safety alerts, and reports.

Delegates

Assistants who act for a principal: answering requests, ranking priorities, and managing the schedule.
